Welcome!

Welcome to my website. It is very under construction, so be patient.

About Me

I'm a 3rd year graduate student in the Biomedical Engineering department at U of A. I do research in the area of medical imaging, specifically MRI. See the research section for more details.

I've started many fun projects over the last few years. I've even finished a few of them. I started a guitar amplifier in 2002. Five years later, it's still very unfinished. My more recent projects are bikes, on which I do all my own maintenance. I have a Gary Fisher Mt Tam mountain bike, Colnago road bike, and an old Nishiki frame I converted to a single speed for commuting purposes. My wife has more bikes than I do, so I won't mention them.

On the topic of bikes, I do endurance bicycle rides/races with my family. Most commonly brevets (the t is silent, it's a French thing) and 24 hour races. In 2004 we took 2nd in the 24 Hours at McDowell Mt.

Last, but certainly not least, is my family. I was married in 2003 and our son Kyle came along in 2005. The photos will show you just how cute he is.
